How to upgrade Supremo 4 Beta to Supremo 5 Beta

Upgrade to Supremo 5 (Beta) brings a lot of advanteges, such as:

• Completely redesigned user interface.
• Faster connections thanks to an improved engine for lower latency and better stability.
• New end-to-end encryption to enhance protection for remote sessions.
• Stronger credential security for better access management and resistance to attacks.

The tutorial below explains how to upgrade Supremo from version 4 to the new 5 Beta client, and how to downgrade back to version 4 if needed.

Please note: to upgrade to version 5, version 4.11.6 must be installed and the update channel must be set to “Beta.”

Upgrade to Supremo 5 (from version 4)

Open Supremo and go to Tools > Software Update.

You will see the latest avalable version (e.g., Supremo 4.11.6.2916).

Clicking on “Upgrade to Supremo 5” Supremo will download and automatically install the new 5 Beta client.

Once completed, the program will restart showing the new interface (Supremo 5.*).

Downgrade to Supremo 4 (from version 5)

Open Supremo and go to Tools > Software Update.

You will see the latest avalable version (e.g. Supremo 5.0.0.*).

Click the button “Downgrade to Supremo 4”, download the .dmg file and install it.
